  1. Wash and soak tur dal for 1/2 and hr.Then pressure cook it with 2 or 3 tomatoes,until it becomes soft.When it cools,grind it.
  2. Add all seasonings in wheat flour and knead it properly to make it smooth dough.The dough should be like chapati dough.Rest it for 15 mnts.
  3. Mix mashed potatoes and seasoning properly to make tasty stuffing. Add spices as per your taste.
  4. Knead wheat flour dough properly and make equal size balls.Roll on to make chapatis.Now place 2 chapatis on one another very gently and cut into long strips first and then cut into halves by 2 inches.Then take one half and stuff it and cover it with other half.,press it properly.
  5. Make all dhoklies like that and keep it aside.
  6. Heat oil in a pan,temper it,add boiled dal, jeggary, kokam, peanuts,water and let it boil on medium high flame for 5 to 7 minutes Then add stuffed dhokli one by one and cook or for 8 to 10 mnts or until they come up on the surface of dal.Switch off the flame,cover with lid and let it be for 5 mnts.so that dhoklies will become soft.Garnish it with chopped coriander,onion and tomatoes and a dollop of ghee serve hot
