  1. Prepare 2 Plain Papad
  2. Take 1/2 Cup Curd
  3. Prepare 1 Cup water
  4. Get 1/2 Tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  5. Get 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
  6. Make ready 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  7. Make ready 1/2 Tsp Salt
  8. Get 1 small cutting of Bay leaf
  9. Prepare 2.5 dried red chilli
  10. Prepare 1/4 Tsp Cumin seeds
  11. Prepare Pinch Asafoetida
  12. Prepare For Tadka:
  13. Make ready Little ghee
  14. Make ready 1/2 Tsp Small mustard seeds
  15. Prepare 8-10 curry leaves
Instructions to make Dahi Papad ki Sabzi:
  1. Roast two plain papads either in microwave or on gas stove.
  2. Break them randomly in bite size pieces and keep aside.
  3. Now take a bowl and add in curd. Add red chilli powder, turmeric and Coriander Powder. Mix nicely. Ideally we dont add salt here in curd. We add in last after closing gas.
  4. Now add 1 cup water to it and prepare a solution. Keep aside.
  5. Heat a wok, add 1 tsp ghee.
  6. Saute for 30 seconds-bayleaf, dried red chillies and cumin seeds along with pinch of Asafoetida.
  7. Now add curd and water solution. Flame should be low.
  8. Stir continuously and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes at medium flame now.
  9. Now gravy is done. Add papad and mix for 30 seconds and add salt as per taste. Dont add much salt as papad is already salty.
  10. Meanwhile prepare a Tadka with little mustard seeds and curry leaves in ghee.
  11. Pour in the sabzi. Garnish with crunchy papad if desired and serve hot.
