The ingredients needed to make Upma:
- Prepare 2 cup semolina
- Prepare 1 chopped onion
- Take leaves Curry
- Get 1 tsp Rai
- Prepare 3 green chilies
- Prepare 2 tbsp gram
- Make ready to taste Salt
Essentially, upma is a thick, porridge-like breakfast dish that is made from coarse rice flour or semolina that has been dry-roasted. There are varieties of upma and I love all types of upma because they are very quick to prepare and also very delicious.
Instructions to make Upma:
- Take 2 cup semolina and roast it until it becomes light brown.
- Take a pan, put 2 tsp Ghee into it.let it heat up.
- Put Rai,curry leaves into it and then add chopped onion, green chilies.
- Roast all the ingredients and then add roasted semolina into it.
- After few minutes add 1.5 cup of water into it.
- Let it cook for 5 minutes.
- Before serving it spread some brown gram. And if u want to make it healthy add some fried veggies….
- Serve it hot.
