Kadhi is served with plain white rice. Punjabi Kadhi is a tantalizingly sour dahi kadhi having besan pakora submerged in it. Steps to make Kadhi pakora:
  1. First for the preparation of pakoras,in a bowl add onions, besan,chillipowder,turmeric,ajwain,salt,gingergarlicpaste,coriander leaves,green chillies, squeeze mix well.
  2. For pakora mixture now add curd,baking soda and Mix well
  3. Now in a medium hot oil, with wet hands,take a scoop of pakora mixture and add to oil.Deep fry until it is golden brown.
  4. Now it's time to prepare kadhi mixture.In a large bowl take been,chilli powder, turmeric,cumin,ginger garlic paste,salt mix well to a smooth paste and then add water.Mix well.
  5. In a pan,add oil add methi seeds,pepper, coriander,cumin,red chillies and hing.saute for a minute.
  6. Now add onions and fry till translucent.
  7. Now add prepared kadhi mixture and keep on stirring.
  8. Continuously stir the mixture so that mixture get thickens and color start changing.
  9. Cover it and allow kadhi to boil for around the 10 minutes. Then add fried pakoras and allow it to boil.so that kadhi blends well.
  10. Finally temper kadhi with 1tsp of ghee,driedchillies,cumin,chilli powder.Now enjoy hot kadhi Lakota with jeera rice, plain rice,roti,chapthi.
