- In a pressure cooker pour ghee and oil. Add the ingredients to temper. Then add chopped onion and fry it.
- Add the chopped vegetables, turmeric powder to the cooker.
- Now pour water in 1:2 ratio. For 1 cup of Basmati rice add 2 cups of water.
- Add the masala powders to it.
- Add the mint leaves. Then add the rice to it and mix well.
- (Optional) We can add soya chunks to it. Boil soya chunks in water and add it after rice is added.
- Pressure cook for only 2 whistles.
- Now the delicious vegetable biryani is ready to serve. Serve hot with raita.
