- To make meat sauce, brown mince(ground beef) until fully cooked and drain off excess fat except for one tablespoons
- Chop all veg, and add to meat saute for 2 minutes, then add dried herbs and all the liquids and salt n pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes until veg is cooked and sauce is reduced. Allow to cool.
- In another pot melt butter do not let it brown, then add flour and mix well allow to cook for 2 minutes to cook out the flour taste.
- Add milk to butter and flour mix. Mix well to avoid lumps, season with salt n pepper and then add 1/2 cup of grated cheese. Allow to cool
- To make lasagna put a ladle of meat sauce into a oven proof dish(9 by 9 inch), then cover with lasagna sheets, top with a ladle of cheese sauce, repeat until all mixes are used finishing with the cheese sauce, top with 1 cup grated cheese
- Put in a preheated oven at 350°F/180°C covered with foil for the 30 minutes, then remove foil and finish browning the lasagna for a further 15-20 minutes depending on Ur oven
- Onced cooked remove from oven and allow it to rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy
