- Heat clarified butter in a pan. Add cloves and fry them. Now add broken vermicelli (sevaiyaan)
- Stir continuously and roast on low-medium flame, until it turns golden brown.
- Pour 1 litre of milk in a pan stir occasionally and cook it on low flame. Let milk come to a boil now add sugar and mix well. Add saffron strands and mix well.
- Add Cardamom powder, chopped mixed dryfruit. Now the mixture will be thick and creamier and it will take around 25 minutes.
- Serve the Kheer warm or chilled in a serving bowl, garnish with dried rose petals, chopped dryfruit(almonds, cashewnuts, pistachios and raisins) etc
