  2. Boil the water with sugar. Add mango purée to the boiling water on low heat. Keep stirring.
  3. Add saffron and roasted Samolina to the mango water. Keep stirring till it’s all lump free and become smooth in texture. Add Desi ghee at the last and mix it well.
  4. Transfer in to the bowl. Garnish with crushed pistachio and almonds.
  5. Enjoy Halwa.

Add the boiling water into semolina and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Mangoes + sooji = Mango Sooji Halwa. What is Sooji? it's nothing but semolina you could also call it as Mango Semolina Pudding! Sooji Halwa is easy to make. Saffron provides a beautiful floral aroma and vibrant yellow color to this halwa.
